An Ex-vegetarian
After 9 years of strict vegetarianism I have went back to eating meat. I do not care for seafood or beef. However, I do sometimes like poultry and pork. I should point out that I was dogma-free vegetarian. I had no real strong beliefs keeping me to the diet. I am not sure how long I will remain a meat eater--maybe another month, maybe forever. I don 't know why I decided to make this change, but it wasn't an easy one. I considered it for several weeks before deciding to try meat again. I don't think any vegetarian should taking the return to eating meat lightly. For many people the decision to be vegetarian is not only a diet. Many people feel their vegetarianism is a reflection of who they are, their determination and beliefs. It is important to be cautious before returning to eating meat.
